Parsun's 4 stroke 4hp short and long shaft Outboard, designed for a small boat, inflatable boat or tender. Lightweight, compact and economical, Parsun provides reliable horsepower and ultra quiet, ultra clean performance. Parsun 4hp has convenient internal fuel tank, providing the perfect compact, fuel efficient outboard.
A few customers - but by no means all - have found it difficult to start both the 4 and 5hp engines when the carburetter is empty. This is a known problem among small 4 stroke outboards where the internal fuel tank is below the level of the carb and it needs a number of pulls on the starter to prime the carburetter. We very strongly advise the use of an external tank and fuel line which totally transforms the startability of the engine. We can supply a 12ltr tank with fuel line, primer bulb and connector for £65.50 inc vat (weh bought at the same time as the engine)
